Great feel and perfect upgrade for the weekend player.
these clubs, although designed for a senior player, are a good all around club for the beginner as well as the seasoned player. These irons hit straighter than most I have hit when hitting off the toe or heal without losing too much distance. The overall rating for me about these clubs is 90 out of 100. The clubs feel great and are good looking as well.
I generally have no trouble hitting fairly high on my 9-SW but it was amazing how high the ball flies with the 3 wedges, pitching-approach-sand wedges. I only hit one round with these as they were rental clubs but they were all easy to hit and found the clubs had a lot of forgiveness. My own set of irons has graphite shafts but the Slingshot had steel shafts (regular) and I had no trouble hitting them-- at least as good distance if not greater than my own cavity back clubs. Now if I can just talk my wife into letting my buy them!
I bought these irons as they came highly recommended by a few buddies. I am new to the game, but I have hit other irons. I thought about buying a cheap box set, but decided on these because I wanted to have the confidence of a good club. They are easy to hit straight and long. Much easier than some of the less expensive box sets that many beginners go with. They are worth the dough. Huge sweet spot. and they look awesome. the soles are large and prevent hitting a fat shot...
