I use the stepper for 2 years and just got one for a friend. It is easy to use and works great. I added 2 pads on the bar underneath the steppers and that eliminates the noise that appear on each stride.
Otherwise it is a great little machine!

We have all kinds of workout equipment. I've strayed from them, but I have consistently and loyally used my stepper. On cold days I bring it in the house only when my familyis not around because it is so noisy and squeaky. I called and was told to oil it in different locations, but it has not helped. Now the bolt that holds the cable has broken, I almost broke my neck when I fell off. Also, it is so oily and greasy that I have to clean it often.

I work out for 30 minutes three times a week and the cable on the stepper didn't last me 3 months. It's a great stepper outside of this issue. The manufacturer needs to look into a sturdier cable.

This is a really good workout, especially in front of the TV. I normally keep my arms moving to increase the aerobic activitiy along with the strenghthening of my legs. However, this stepper is not for someone who is just starting out or hasn't worked out in a long time. It does require good balance because the stepper doesn't have a real solid base. I totally enjoy using this stepper.

The stepper is great to use although the cable breaks and breaks. I have been through three of them with each lasting only a few months. It would be a good stepper if this problem were to be resolved.

The product is a good value for the money. I've had it for a few weeks now and I love it. There's only occasional squeeking. There's just enough resistance on it however I wish there was another setting to adjust the resistance. It's compact and can be used virtually anywhere. I welcome the Stamina in Stride Elctronic Mini Stepper to my routine.

I started out in sept. 06, the cable broke. The next one squeaked so bad plus the monitor was broken when I got it. Then the weld broke on the next one and I returned it. Now I am on my 4th one. It squeaks but I'm keeping it till it breaks. I have lost 40 pounds (started out at 180.) the idea is great but the design could be tougher.
