Overall, this driver gives me more consistency off the tee than my old driver and added at least 30 extra yards off the tee. The square head is more forgiving than my last driver also. The only negative, if it bothers you, is the loud, metallic baseball bat sound it produces when you are ripping it off the tee.

2nd Best Driver I ever used

This driver is a great club. The only reason I say 2nd best is because I like the Callaway FT-I better, but I'm not paying $400+ for that club. This Sumo is a great club. It bombs the ball down the fairway, has great forgiveness, and a big sweet spot. Like other reviews say, 300 yards is not an exaggeration. This club won't turn you into Tiger overnight, but with a little practice, you will definitely be driving it for show. One tip, the factory grip sucks, it will not fit most players hands. Get a properly sized grip [$]. It will let you get the most out of this club. Finally, the club is loud, but not too loud. But when you drive it 300 yards, you want people to look.

-It has an awsome sound, whoever says that it has annoying sound is so wrong.
-I used to play with an AdamsGolf Ovation and I tried everything to stop my slice that I consistently hit. I only hit the Ovation 220-230 yards but I hit the SUMO2 300+(on a good shot) straight down the fairway.
- I absolutely crush the ball now and vow to never again use a circle driver. The square is the way to go.
-This is a must but for the weekend hacker or even a highly competitive tourney player. MUST TRY IT BEFORE YOU "SAY" YOU HATE IT!

This club does exactly what is supposed to do! It is extremely forgiving, and added much needed distance and accuracy to my drives. This club gives me confidense off the tee. It is loud, but when you are hitting long and straight you don't mind the attention.

I really can't believe there a people who are annoyed by the sound of this club, but during tournaments people yell at a ball to get into a hole like the ball is living, breathing person. This club for 90% of us will help you dramatically. It makes a great sound and you will hit it straght as an arrow. Worth the [$] I paid for it.

This is by far the best driver I've owned. Did research on launch monitor and demo day on the range. Has really improved my game. The SUMO2 has convinced some of my golfing buddies to " go square" . It is long, VERY forgiving, by far the most accurate driver I have owned. And I have owned Titleist, Taylor Made, Cobra, and other Nike's. It is my favorite club in the bag. The unique sound doesn't bother me when I get the results that I do.

The Nike Sasquatch Square head driver is the best driver that I have ever hit. I play about twice a week this driver will hit the ball straight and FAR with ever swing. It improved my drive from 20-45 yards on every swing. It's only downfall is that it is very loud. That is the only reason that I did not rate it a five star driver. It sounds like you are hitting the ball with a aluminum baseball bat/

shooting 50 caliber rounds at the target. Or if not, it definitely sounds like it. Pretty difficult to mishit the ball, it doesn't slice or hook for me at all. This is by far the easiest driver to hit, Im surprised its legal. Now I just gotta learn how to putt....

Longest Driver Ever

High Handicapper, Long Holes, Off The Tee, Upgrade
Describe Yourself:

Longest driver ever. Almost impossible to mishit. Even with mishit, ball will fly straight. On proper impact, the ball will shoot off the clubface like a missile, fast and accurate. Added at least 30 yards carry distance for me in 99% of the time. The only drawback it have is it's real loud. Like hitting a empty can. If you like attention, then this will be an advantage cos everybody in the vicinity will definately stare at you.

Best Uses:
Long Holes, Off The Tee, Upgrade
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:

This club is excellent. It's ultra-forgiving and it's long. As with any club, you can still miss-hit, slice or hook... but for this 13 handicap golfer - it has greatly reduced the amount of miscues, both in number of occurances and amount of variance. It's truly given me the confidence off the tee, alowing me to swing away.

This driver is a must. ...
By Henry W from Plainville, Georgia on 3/12/2007

This driver is a must. First I was skeptical about the square head driver, but it delivers a powerful boom of the tee. This driver does what it is suppose to do forgiveness, hit balls strait as an arrow. It is my first time hitting over 300 yards. Buy one and you will not be disappointed because this is the real deal!
