    It works great, it won't bend under weight. The weights don't even clang around on it when I lift it. The grips on it are good, so you won't drop it if you're sweaty. It has a good weight to it. The only problem I had was that the threading size on the bar is inconsistent, one of my collars would fit on one end of the bar, but not on the other. Sometimes when I would start to screw a collar onto the bar it would just get stuck in the middle of the bar, all because that one section of the bar was for some reason bigger than the rest of it. Other than that It's a great bar.

      Bar is exactly what we needed. The bench we bought was too wide for the standard bar that came with our basic weight set for my son. Not old enough for olympic weights, so we really just needed a wider bar. The collars (spin on and fixed) also have rubber inserts to keep the weights from banging around. The only reason for the downgrade is I don't think the inside collar distance was mentioned in the advertisement. It's 51" for all those that come after.
