          First off, the bar is well priced, nice and sturdy, it is a very nice bar.

          However I am disappointed in a few things that were left out. For one, it did NOT come with clips to hold the weights on safely. Very disappointed in this, I had to go out of my way to buy them separately. The bar cannot be used without the clips and should have definitely come with the bar.

          Secondly, there are no grooves(rings) in the bar to represent hand placement for olympic lifting or as a reference point to remember where you put your hand placement for benching or numerous other lifts.

          Overall I'm pretty happy with the bar but I'm disappointed in the above two failures to include simple but important things in this bar. If they were included this would have been an outstanding purchase but since they weren't it was just an ok purchase.

          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
