It would have to be used and stored on a surface over hard-wood or carpet. However, I really liked the machine's tension. I would use it while watching sports and 1/2 hour would fly by.
[...], poor quality. I put it together anyway and it seems to work fine...for now. It was fairly easy to put together but I would recommend having a pliers handy.
I have always liked rowing machines the best out of gym equipment, and I have been really pleased with this purchase. It's very quiet, easy to use, the computer is easy and helps you focus and develop the workout. It 'folds up' to a pretty small footprint and can be stored in a closet etc if needed and wheels around easily. Most of all, it gives me a really good workout, legs, stomach, arms, chest and back. I read the negative review on this page and have to say I didn't totally understand it, I would definitely recommend this machine.
The pros of this equipment is that assembly is very easy in that a lot of it comes pre-assembled out of the box. Having said that, that is the only pro to this piece of trash. The computer looks flimsy, the seat is unstable and the leg rests are so flimsy that if you are not injured during a moderately intensive workout it's a miracle. The setting for difficulty level is also hard to read. They should've used a white marker to denote the position of the knob.
My recommendation: Avoid this and invest in one of the more expensive rowers. In that way atleast you will save on the shipment from and back to the warehouse.
