This lightweight and economical designs a variation of the Mariner CLIPIT.
It was originally developed to assist with emergency rescue efforts, though it is also very effective for marine and equestrian applications. The hollow-ground sheepfoot-style blade promotes safe use in high-risk situations and maintains a consistent thickness from heel to tip for strength. The exceptionally tough handle features a clip which is reversible for right/left carry and mounted as part of the lanyard hole. Both Rescue and Rescue Jr. provide front and rear expansion at the index finger position to help prevent forward or backward slipping while making the cut. Blade Steel: ATS-55
