I have 3 boys from 7-15 and this was replacement from last in ground goal. The assembly took 3-5 hours total. It best for help from a person and except for the handle attachment, the instructions were easy to read and understand. Though I rarely do this, I would advise identifying and laying the parts out before you start. So many are similar yet need to be used in specific components. Only had to unassemble once to replace with proper part that was essentially same size and shape but different composition. Added additonal concrete inside bottom post and the structure is pretty sound. Very heavy when trying to lift and place final assmebly onto post. Lower the goal to shortest distance and it becomes much easier for two guys to handle

This product looked like a great del, because they showed discount from original price. Then when I went to purchase it it was excluded from 20% promotion. I found it elsewhere for $150 cheaper. This was true of many other products as well!!!!

Like the powder coat protection, but lack of material in box allows metal to metal contact resulting in minor scratches. Very tasteful look in the yard though. Goal does shake a little more than expected. Directions suggest pouring concrete into the post - above the ground approx 12" which I liked, but the shaking appears to come from the lift arms/connections. Rim is very sturdy and high quality, but don't put the bottom cover plate on until it is in the air and the slam spring is adjusted to your liking. One fault in the directions is the picture which accompanies Section 4.8. The pic doesn't show the center hole of the Pump Adjust Actuators and Cylinder below the gas shock rod. The bolt for this hole isn't installed until Section 4.10. Otherwise, very good directions. When lifting assembled system onto bottom pole, be careful of pinch points around the lift/lower arms. The Pump Adjust lift/lower system makes it very easy to change heights. Very good value at 50% off and I would reccomend it.

Great system. Was packaged well, had all the parts. I agree the assembly can take some time, but can anyone really expect this to be setup in less than 30 minutes? For the reviews that complained about setup, pay someone to do it for you. Very sturdy system, everything I expected!

The 90062 system has great potential to satisfy the middle market needs. I was excited to see powder coat paint, glass backboard, square tube design and the overall style. After buying it, you see the negatives. It starts with the packaging. Painted parts touching, shock rolling around hitting other painted parts. This damage will be the starting point for rust. The assembly instructions are incomplete and horribly difficult to follow. Warning notes at the bottom of the page.....you see them right after something bad happens. For a company with the ability to engineer such a great product, this documentation should not be allowed. Delight the customer by fixing the packaging and instructions and this will be a winner.

I have to agree with the previous review. In our case several washers were missing and the instructions are not particularly clear. This is the lowest price one I could find with these features and I am beginning to understand why. Hopefully things will be better once finish putting it together...assuming Lifetime will send them to me.

[...] When they shipped the bb goal, some nuts were missing from the package, which stopped the assembly process cold. In addition, the manual and packaging for the product are awful. Nuts are packaged separately from the bolts they go with. Parts are in bags with unrelated 7 digit numbers for identification, and bags are packed inside other bags.It's taking forever to assemble and is nothing but a nuisance.
