Took a lot of time to put together. Awlful directions. The plastic pieces that went around the back board just fell off, cheap plastice pieces. Had to use a drill for part of it.

Multiple pieces broke putting it together. It didn't have all the pieces. The directions were AWFUL. Only had pictures no words and didn't even show every step. It took 3 hours to put together because you have to keep taking apart and figuring it out yourself b/c of the lack of direction in the directions manual. Backboard was scratched upon arrival. I put that I would recommend the product b/c in the end it works well...but if you can get one used online already put together MUCH better idea.

The instructions were different, no words, just pictures. A couple of times you had to think through the final assembly sequence, especially attaching the backstop to the pole and the adjusting tubes. Otherwise, this is a fantastic product and very user friendly. My son is 9 and he can adjust it from 7.5 feet to 10 feet by himself for when his smaller friends want to play basketball.

This product is sturdy, easily
adjustable and once the guys put
it in place it does not budge.

Pros:
Once built, seems to work as intended.
Seems durable.

Cons:
Be careful while building, many sharp edges with burrs. Ended up at the emergency room with smashed/cut finger, after the latching mechanism came undone while tilting the hoop back to the ground.

Very difficult to fill the base with sand. You need to climb on a step ladder and try to dump sand through a small hole. Needs larger opening.

fairly easy for two adults to install--all pieces in individual bags which help with set up--however the biggest problem is that two steps require screws to go into the metal pole and metal on backboard and they just do not go in--

My daughter (8) and son (4) got this for Christmas. It took 3 hours to build and was not that difficult. Just need to take your time and read the directions!! Its a great system that adjusts to 7.5 feet so they can practice at a height they can shot at! The base is very sturdy and the construction is very good. The only bad thing would be that the back board is a little thin. Over all this is a great system and I would reccomend it to anyone with kids!

Excellent product, instructions could use some tips. Like please note to mount pole base to bottom base with latch on the inside. Cause once you mount the wheels its hard to undo. Also installing the springs was a challenge. They need to include a long sturdy tool so that more leverage can be used when stretching the springs. The use of a wrench was not very practical. Also backboard could be thicker.
