          I am a college cross country runner. In high school I ran in adidas and nike mostly, but never had a pair that didn't rip or wear out quickly, otherwise loved the shoes. I decided to switch to asics only to get stress fractures, even after trying multiple pairs. Finally I stumbled on a mizuno representative who gets me my shoes VERY cheap. Of course I tried out the wave inspire, and I will NEVER speak a word against mizuno again. Mizuno's may not be the most popular in the running world, but I can go 700+ miles on these shoes before they wear out. Not only that, but I have yet to find to find a more comfortable shoe to run in. All of my running buddies say they would never wear mizuno because they are heavy, and to be honest, yes they do weigh a little more then other shoes out there. However, the added weight is why they last so long and are so comfortable. You're not going to be racing in these shoes, so its more beneficial to train in heavy shoe anyhow. Anyhow, now that I have gone on my rant, buy mizuno shoes and I promise you wont be disappointed. That is all.
