    I have had this shorts for less than a month and used few times on a mountain bike ride through various roads in the city of Chicago. Anyone living here would know that the roads are horrible. So far, no complaints and I can say for sure that my ride comfort improved significantly and I cannot imagine riding again a bicycle without this (such) shorts. It fits really nice with a good grip that also supports the back.

    I bought these shorts thinking the thick gel pad would be an upgrade for me on long rides, but it does not even cover my sitbones. If you look at the picture, the chamois starts about 4 in below the waist in the front... and it doesn't go far enough back in the rear. I you sit on your perineum these are great, but they offer no padding for the pelvic bones on which you are supposed to sit. The padding is simply too far forward in the shorts, they are no good.

        I just finished 4 miles running and 12 miles cycling, I rode a bike with a stock seat, which I have never done before. I always use heavy padded seats. After 12 miles on the bike and 200 mile drive home, I feel great. I am buying another pair.

          These shorts were great for the couple months. I always washed them in cold water and hung them to dry. Then came a ride that was VERY uncomfortable. When I got home I found that the gel padding was bunched up. Turns out the gel padding was no longer attached to the "chamios". Every time I wash them I have to spend 10-15 mins straightening out the pad, no easy feat because the gel pad is sealed between chanois & short. DO NOT BUY! There are other shorts in the same price range that have better quality.

          i've never worn cycling shorts. no more suffering. i didn't know which brand to buy or how to buy. the gel padding in the front covers a big area. i love it. it cradles the boys making them comfy. the crotch and rearend is well covered. i will buy more and highly recommend them.

          Just looking online for quality inexpensive riding shorts...the last batch I purchased 25 years ago and they have served me well. Hit all of the major stores and cycling shop and could find nothing to fit my former bodybuilding but avid cyclist frame (30 miles every other day). Online, I saw the shorts listed and ordered 2 pair (XXL). Already rotating 3 older pair of XXL shorts...I would have conluded that these newer versions would be more than I ever expected with improvements in the technology and quality of materials available today. The material was not the best quality; barely got the shorts over my thighs; once I did impressions of private areas were readilty revealed. The waist band was a fit (GREAT) but could have rode a bit higher on my waist...I personally do not like or prefer hip hugger type biking shorts or clothing. All in all...probably a great product for smaller riders...but a 6'3" 275 lbs. where a good portion of my weight is in my legs...this was not the best purchase for me. Both pair have been returned!!!

                Pretty baggy fit, no compression whatsoever
                Padding doesn't realy work well for road bikes. Would be better if the gel was smaller, I don't know why you would need to pad the front. Maybee better for mountain bikes, I'm not sure
