If you read ANY soccer shade review, people are complaining that the wind caught their shade and bent the frame. Well guys, THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS. What matters is that the company stands behind the product and offers spare parts affordably. Quik Shade is such a company! Their spare parts are dirt cheap on their website (starting at $2.00), we got ours at Sports Authority and one minor part was missing so we just called the company and they mailed it out !!!If you buy a Costco shade - NO SPARE PARTS.If you buy a Walmart shade - NO SPARE PARTS.If you buy ANY shade and expect it to work and not get bent in high winds, well, you're being foolish, that's all i can say. Be thankful that when a Quick Shade breaks, you can ALWAYS fix it without having fork out another $120+ for a new one !!!

Don't leave it up overnight. If it rains you will get an inverted canopy full of water that breaks the accordian frame. Unfortunately, there's no warning, so they mean "pop-up" and "take down" after the day's shade. I really wanted the canopy so I threw out the box and can't return broken frame. The canopy should be sold separately so that people can re-surface a stronger frame. Limited use warning / recommendation for bottom line.

I purchased this 6/17/2012 to use at craft shows. Used it six times. Main support arm broke and almost hit a customer. Right after that broke the canopy came down in a pile of mess. No possible way to fix it. Company said would replace one arm and I would have to purchase the rest to fix the frame. Frame was not fixable. Don't waste your time with extended warranty from Sports Authority they won't do anything. Main company is worse to deal with. So I have no canopy and will not deal with this company again.

I ordered this product on line and it came damaged. A second one was sent and the zipper was damaged. I'll probably have that repaired rather than send another back. You would think, out of two products, at least one would be satisfactory.

this was used once for camping. worked great. not good on slight breezes on beach. And not good on any type of winds. the whole canopy lifted in air while being used at a school carnival. since canopy too light then legs broke in half.

I have had this casnopy for 2 seasons and have had great experiences with it. I worried about setting it up in the wind but once I tethered it down, I had no problems.

Really easy to set up, and can be taken anywhere a canopy is needed. I take it to kids games often, as well as use it in my backyard for parties in the summer. Love it!

If this was a car it would legally qualify under the LEMON LAW. I got it brand new from Sports Authority and opened it to my disappointment - the four diagonal brackets supporting the canopy were broken. OK then let's take it back to Sports Authority - Response" Sorry, you have to deal with the manufacturer,.. WHAT? Sports Immaturity, you are not going to get my business again!

Do not buy .. company will not honor their warranty on new purchases. Bought a tent from a store that "they claim is not an authorized dealer" They had 4 tents on display how are you to know if they are authorized! Buyer Beware.

Ours broke in a gust of wind.It was raining slightly,so we set up the canopy to keep my soccer teams gear dry while we practiced. We had the legs in the lowest position, so it was about 4' off the ground, and staked. A wind gust came up and the canopy instantly folded, breaking one of the eve struts. This would be an easy repair if there were parts available for a resonable cost. The company that sells the parts,(and distributes the canopy)Bravo Sports, must be in [*]. As an american,I could barely communicate with the person I reached on the phone. The part was only $3.00, but after a 20 minute phone conversation, I was told the shipping cost would be $21.00. Insane for a 34" piece of oval tubing that weighs less than 8 oz. The dealers of these canopy's should sell replacement parts. Then I would suggest buying one. I fixed mine with some thick steel that I fabricated, but it would take someone pretty handy to do this. If it breaks again I will buy a Coleman.
