Purchased three of these for two new bikes and a bike trailer. Thought it would be good for the bike trailer because we could wind the cable through the welded parts of the frame to keep it secure. Three weeks later, both the bike trailer and the lock are missing. It was either picked or cut - either way it's not good.

Thought this would be a sturdy lock for my commuter bike. Unfortunately on the second day of use, the bike and lock were gone after a long day at the office. I would not recommend this bike lock, unless you are looking for an excuse to buy a new bike.

Had to go online to find how to reset the lock. To do so you push in & down on red tab (lock side) until you hear it click then set code. Next press the black tab (also on lock side) up until you hear it click.

I bought this lock with my brand new bike. Road to work 3 times, on the third day...after work it was gone. Bike and lock were just gone. So, it is easy to cut, even though it says it is "stage 4" security.

Also, only an idiot can't set the code. You pull down a tab on the lock side, set the code, and look it is done! The other reviewers just probably didn't bother to actually look at the lock itself. But what's the point? My bike is gone.

I bought this thinking that it would be easy to use, but I was wrong. It didn't come with any info soooo, I don't know how to set the code.

didn't come with instructions!!! what a waste of time. now i have to go return it for a key lock.

You'd think that Bell would insert a 3x5 piece of paper telling you how to set the code. 7 people worked on this and no one could figure it out. PIECE OF JUNK!!!! It's being returned
