In store I compared these against the big name brands and found these far superior. They worked out great.

First, the website doesn't give any guidance on sizing, so we went to the store. The small says it was for players up to 54" so that's what I bought for my 46" daughter. We couldn't even begin to get them on her (and she's skinny as a rail). So we went back to the store and took her along this time. We tried the medium on her and it was an extreme struggle to get them on and we just gave up. We ended up going with a pair of small Adidas shin guards that cost only 1 cent more, also at Sports Authority. We've been perfectly happy with those.
Bought the small for my 3 yr old son and could not even get them on. He is actually a smaller size for 3 yrs old. the length is right just too tight to put them on. Sorry not a good product. Maybe buy a large size but then they would be too long...we are getting the nike ones next. All the little kids had those and they look comfortable and easy to put on and off. :)
We just bought the small for my 3 year old son. They are so tight that I can't even get them over his feet. I will be taking them back. I read all these reviews after the fact, but I will be purchasing the adidas ones.
My husband and I bought these for our son. It was his first time playing soccer and we wanted to buy guards that had ankle protection. The ankle protection is so bulky and mis placed it caused his cleats to push out and stretch to the side. He was VERY uncomfortable his first practice and they are nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get off. This is very difficult to deal with especially when dealing with a young child. I went back to sports authority and purchased some adidas shin guards and my husband, son and I are very happy with them!
