First off the vest is a bit expensive and the additional weights are too expensive for what you get BUT, if you need/want a weight vest this seems to be the best available. I have used it a few times and it worked quite well. I have wanted a weight vest for years but was never able to find one that was really worth having. (Until now) Bottom line – it seems to be the best of the bunch. I wish I would have been able to find this years ago.

I read where people wrote about the product being too expensive. You get what you pay for. This weight vest is by far the best product available in it's product class. The extra weights are expensive but this is why you can do aquatic workouts. Most weight vest come with bags filled with lead sand which greatly limits what you can do while wearing the product. The weights are easy to slide in if you wipe them with a damp rag before sliding them in. They will go in very easily.

Again, this product is one of a kind. You pay for quality and you get what you pay for. I have recommended five friends to buy the ATI weight vest. Their comments have been nothing short of stellar. Great training product!!!!

I am a coach of a football team. I have purchased several of the ATI Skillz weighted vests for my skill position players to practice with under their shoulder pads. If you unzip the lower section and sleeves the ATI skillz vest fits perfectly under the shoulder pads with 10 lbs. of weight. My players feedback has been nothing short of phenominial.

I believe that we have definitely found an advantage to take our in-season training to a new level. I would recommend this product to my friends as well as other football programs.

The product fits me well without shifting too much. Works exactly as I hoped. I wear the vest for sprints, jumping and plyometrics. I would have given 5 stars except: 1) the price of the vest, which of course I knew ahead of time, but I had a gift card so that off-set; 2) the extra weights are REALLY expensive, which I think I am going to get around by putting rolls of pennies or dimes in the vest; 3) the weights are very difficult to get in if the vest is warm or humid so it is easiest to get them in when it is cool, dry and you twist them back and forth rather than just wedge them in; and 4) the vest gets really hot so you sweat a lot more than normal.

EVEN with these 4 drawbacks I would still buy the vest again. It would have been nice to know the cons ahead of time though. Again, I would still buy again even though it is very pricey and I don't know how much better it works than other vests since this is the only one I've used. I did try others on in the store and was NOT impressed with the others so that is why I bought this one online.

I gave this product two starts instead of one because it is a pretty decent product. However, it is ridiculously expensive, especially when you factor in the additional weight that you will eventually need.For the complete vest and all the weight it will hold you have to pay [$]. That's for a 35lbs weight vest. For the matching shorts and the most weight you have to pay $180 plus tax.There are numerous other weight vests that are just as good and cost a fraction of the price. I would understand if they were charging a little more than other vests, but not three to four times as much.There is nothing that magical about it. All weight vests are cumbersome and this is no exception (though certainly some are worse).

ive owned this vest for awhile now. made sure i bought it on sale at one of SAs 20% off sales. it seems to run a tad small. im 6ft 210# and usually wear size XL for shirts and jackets and they always fit perfectly. XL on this thing is snug, but maybe it's supp to be like that. the individual weights are not the easiest to get in. each wt is only 1/2 pound so for a vest that holds 35#, well, you're going to be sliding these things in for awhile. and they do not slide in easily. still, once you finally get them in, they're in. so it's not a big negative. i think the quality is very good. zippers are large and sturdy. it does restrict arm motion quite a bit, so keep that in mind depending on what you're doing. and that's withOUT the sleeves on. i havent worn it with the sleeves on yet. without the sleeves it's hard for me to lift my arms above my shoulders. there's no extra padding in the shoulders which i think is a mistake. this puts a lot of pressure on the traps and bones around the shoulder joint. it is a bit uncomfortable to wear for a long period if you've got 30# in there. extra padding would've been nice. i find myself adjusting it a lot so it's not sitting on the exact same spot of my shoulders the whole time. ATTENTION: it only comes w 10# of weights!!! every 5# extra you have to buy separately and that is $25 EACH. so it's an extra $125 if you want to fill it to the max 35#. ive seen vests for about the same price, that got good reviews elsewhere that came w all the weights included. still, if you're willing to spend [$] for a 35# vest then i think you'll be happy as long as you're aware of everything up front. i'd give it 4 stars if it came w more weights

I use this to increase my freefall speed when I skydive, so my weighted garments can't be "floppy" or loose in the least, and need to fit under a jumpsuit. This fit that bill perfectly.

The vest is made of high quality material. It has good weight distribution throughout the vest. Has a ton of extra slots for extra weights if you desire. Stock it weights about 20lbs which is good enough a performance enhancing training session. Overall, it is exactly what I was looking for in a weighted vest: Compact, comfortable, durable, and adjustable.

Great all around training vest. Extremely versatile with the zip on/off sections. Only product that is designed with such innovation. I highly recommend the SKILLZ vest.
