Great alternative for the price compared to individual dumbbells. Only complaint is when doing chest presses or military presses, due to the curved ends, its hard to balance on your thighs and kick up into position when using heavier weights.
Also it becomes a pain to change weights between sets, while drop sets are out of the question. Not for people who are looking to do any kind of burnout/pyramid sets.

This is my second of this same set; have two curl bars and four dumbells saves me setup time. I could pay five times as much for pieces that would only be a little sturdier and quieter; those differences aren't worth the cost. This set is a great value.
