SOG®'s Trident tanto knife is designed with a Groove™ in the handle, allowing you to cut paracord or fishing line without having to open the blade; the handle also includes a Digi-Grip™ variable pattern for coarser grip in areas that require it. A bayonet-style clip is easily switched for right- or left-hand carry, or removed for pouch storage.

Comments about SOG Specialty Knives SOG Trident Tanto Blade Knife:

Great back up to fiearms, other edged weapons, blunt force and leass than lethal weapons. The lock to keep closed shouldn't be there. I've never had an assisted opening or auto knife open unintentionally. It is too small to take off easily with sweaty, wet or bloody hands and goes on too easily. This can be a problem if you use it as a backup in defensive applications. It locks the knife too easily accidentally. the clip had side to side movement when new and now it's worse. There is no way to tighten it. I don't carry mine any more because of it. The steel is good, the lock is good, the knife holds an edge well and is easy to sharpen.
