Comments about Franklin MLB Multi-Position Return Trainer:

My wife will not play catch with me, so I decided to purchase this product. I love this as much as my wife and even gave it my wife's name, because I get the same workout chasing the ball as I do chasing the balls my wife throws to me.

Comments about Franklin MLB Multi-Position Return Trainer:

we can't seem to install the net. As you add more bungees, we can't seem to stretch the net enough to complete the bungess as the tension is too much. Is there a tool or some trick for adding the bottom bungees once the top and side bungees are installed? Seems like you have to be superman to stretch the net enought to install them.

Difficult to set up because of terrible instructions. Metal tubing very cheap. Net does not fit the frame. Save your money and buy something else.

Comments about Franklin MLB Multi-Position Return Trainer:

I bought this for a 12-year old who is a decent player, so he can throw with some force. He was able to put it together himself. However there have been two major problems:
        1. The single-arm support does not offer enough support at the top. The frame twists/shifts right or left every time he throws above the midline, so he constantly has to readjust it to return the balls.
        2. The adjustable-angle device (just a lever that opens and closes to "squeeze" the pole) does not have sufficient friction to stop the pole from sliding down. We addressed this with a couple of rubber bands, but it is a pain.
So, all-in-all, we would not buy this again. The clssic design was much better and lasted 2 years in all kinds of weather. We will be replacing this one withing 60 days of purchase.
