Ordered my shoe size but this was way to big. Also, the toe was crushed and not comfortable to wear on the one skate. Don't like that I can't return to store :(

Hum, well just purchased these skates and received them on Friday, October 1st. I ordered the correct size (I thought) I wear 8-8.5 in womans shoes so, I ordered size 9. They were HUGE! So, for the heck of it we took them to Sports Authority store, and compared and in store size 9 was great fit, and comparing the ones I ordered online either where missmarked and was atleast size 10. The sales assoc. couldn't believe it and kept saying she didn't understand. So, anyhow I returned the ones I purchased online [...]and purchased the extact ones in store, but paid $10.00 more for them. The down fall either way is that you should plan to replace your laces often, because if you don't keep them away from the velcro strap, it just shreds the laces. I have used these skates 4 times outside, and for the price and comfort if they last me one year, I feel it was worth my money and I would purchase them again, but only from store not online.

None of the skates offered here are suitable for real Roller Derby skating. The brand name is Roller Derby but don't waste your money on these if you want to be a real skater. The wheels are small & hard, the boots & toe stops are cheap, and the trucks aren't adjustable, so there is no flexibility for turns & maneuvering.

I needed a 9 to a 91/2 but they don't have 1/2 sizes. I read that they ran small so I ordered a 10, it was waaay too big. [...] Now I'm too bummed to order the 9 - it might be too small [...] Ugh! I want to find these in a store but it doesn't look good.

Thse are perfect. My husband and I are i our 50's and exercise regularly. However, for a nice change we wanted to skate again. What fun. The skates are perfect for the sidewal and around the lake where we live. Very comfortable and fast enough. Will buy another pair when these wear out.

I've been indoor skating with rentals for a long time, and thought I would upgrade. I skate fairly fast, so I thought these would be a great buy. They feel completely different and take a lot of adjusting to - typical boot skates remove all side-to-side shifting, but these soft shoes let your ankles wiggle a lot, needing a whole new set of muscles & balance. The speed of these skates indoors can make them dangerous to beginners - I would not recommend these for someone who isn't confident with classic skates. The extra movement makes "crossover" turning difficult.

While I have not been able to adjust to them indoors yet (had them for about a month), outdoors on a bike path they were fabulous - the wheels have a ridged surface that combats the traction of asphalt and its a great workout.
