I like wide shoes and this shoe is very comfortable(this shoe is the favorite part of these skates for me)..if you have a small foot they probably wouldn't be best for you.

Right now I skate once a week on a wooden indoor floor. They were very slow and took a lot of effort to use the first few times. So, I've been adjusting them from week to week. Untightened some of the wheels because not all of them were spinning for more then a sec. Also had to loosen up the trucks for easier turns. I just rotated the wheels last week and found that 5 outta 8 of the wheels had extra washers on them...they are now much faster. The wheels themselves though still feel very clucky to me..I may have to try a slimmer wheel here pretty soon.

All in all..I'd recommend these to a skater that isn't afraid to toy around with adjusting their skates. They probably will need to be tweeked for almost anyone getting them.

When I first got these skates they were good the first times I used them. I had to put all my mite into tighting the laces though. I have a skinny foot and my foot would be all over the place in the skate which i absolutely HATED! Around the 3rd time I used them they were totaled. The leather around the laces was ripped apart and everytime I skated a few laps the tounge on the skate would slide down to the side of the skate making it annoying and painful. Everytime I was done using them I would have HUGE blisters on my feet keepign me from skating longer. The sole of the shoe would pop up also. I also had to get my wheels tightened which didn't help at all. The show design is the worst design I have ever seen! I like the wheels but everything else belongs in the dump. (BTW I skate indoor on wood flooring)

I am enjoying my Roller Derby to skate with my kids. I use them on the street and also in indoor roller rink. They are very lightweight and fit nicely on my feet. they also provide very good support. The only thing I did not like about them was that they were a little slower then the old ones I changed them for. Other than that I liked them very much.

I would suggest the manufacturer to go a little heavier on the leather, other than that it is a very fine product.

these skates are pretty good. they are best for the rink and/or smooth pavement. not to great riding in the street for exercise/ practice, overall good skates tho.
