Longtime Merrell user. Other Merrells took a while to break in, particularly around the achilles tendon. These shoes, however, broke in after a few hours, and are very, very comfortable. They are lightweight, yet sturdy. The Vibram sole has good traction. I wear them in the snow with no problems, in spite of the open construction. I walk home from work each day in them, about 2.5 miles. Great shoe.

I have been wearing these shoes every day for almost 2 years for work. They are extremely comfortable and unbelievably durable. I've never had a shoe last this long. The tread is barely there now but the shoe is in one piece with no issues. I've never done a review before but felt I had to share. Awesome.

This is my second pair. It's a nice comfortable fit and feel shoe. Just enough foot support and ventilation. It pretty durable and has good traction. Use it for everyday use most of the time and when out camping and/or trekking. It's a good three-seasonal shoe. Would not wear during inclement weather, being that there not waterproof and they would feel heavy. Otherwise, a good shoe.

These are good shoes, that's why this is my 3rd or 4th. They tend to run narrow, which I need for my narrow feet. I would appreciate insoles for flat footed people, but that is not their fault. I blame my parents ;).

Was unsure about ordering a pair of hiking shoes on line, but there was no problem whatsoever. If I had to return them there was a prepaid return label included in the shipment.
