This is my second pair of Merrell Moab boots. The first pair lasted around 2 years and were great. This second pair, which were not cheap shoes, came apart after only 5 weeks on the outside front by my pinkie toe, where the leather meets the black rubber toe guard! (Sounds like another reviewer had a very similar complaint so I'm not alone!) At that point, the shoes are pretty much worthless! I contacted the store, but was outside of the 30 day return policy, so buyer beware! The drop in quality from the first pair is so significant and the lack of recourse from the store was so in your face that this will definitely be my last pair of Merrel shoes and probably be my last purchase from Sports Authority!

these were comfortable right out of the box...didnt have to do much to break them in but after 3 months of use they came apart on the front outside of the shoe(where my pinky toe would be)and once that happens the shoe is done

This is the second pair of these I've purchased. The first pair the fit was marginal in the beginning but came around in the end. The second pair is unusable and because I've worn them briefly there is no recourse but to put them in the yard sale pile.

Merrells fit my narrow feet! Hard to find that in a hiking boot. Nice and light weight. They are helping to stabilize my sprained ankle.
