Comments about Garmin Forerunner 310XT Waterproof GPS Watch:
I've owned several Garmin products over the years, from GPS sport watches to straight up GPSs for hiking in the woods. My experience with their GPS watches has been consistent; after a tedious set up, they work well for about a year and then just stop working - period. The 310XT was no exception to this rule. Paid 400 bucks, and it just quit after about 12 months. Up to that point, it worked well. Computer interface worked fine, and was able to track my runs. Once I got the data I wanted on the main screen, I was able to see my pace, and total run time, which was great. And then one day... it just stopped. So, if you're looking for an expensive watch with a short life, this ones for you. Otherwise, for the money... should probably just go Suunto. Just sayin...
