    I bought this as a birthday gift for my 6-yr old grandson. He has some difficulty putting them on himself. He quickly gained his balance because of the design and was rolling on the vinyl kitchen floor. His favorite pasttime now is going to the indoor skating rink. His little brother will get a pair for Christmas.

    I bought these skates for my two boys for Christmas and they have been skating around the kitchen floor everyday since. They LOVE them!!! The skates are in training mode right now but I will easily be able to move the wheels into inline mode when that time comes. It did take them a couple of days to get there balance but now they are off to the races. I am already looking into buying my younger son the skates for sizes 1 - 4, since he will outgrow the J10 -J13 that I got him by summer, and I will be passing these down to his cousin whose feet are smaller than my son's. I absolutely recommend these skates to everyone who has small children that want some independence while in the skating rink.
