I bought this bike for a fun way to get some outdoor exercise. I have had a recumbent exercise bike for years and really love it so thought this would be perfect. My son who is 9 loves it as much as I do. We are enjoying this bike daily. We will be adding another one next year. It rides best on sidewalks or smooth surfaces.
I am 5' tall and this bike fits me well, but if you are tall it would not. I ride on a path and it's lots of pedaling, but you cannot get up to the speed of a regular bike. It takes hills well because of it's one [low] gear. It's exercise, but I cannot bike w/friends that have regular bikes. I really like the look and feel of this low-riding trike. I wish it had more speeds though.
