          My 9 year old struggles with most big barrels, meaning he hits a lot of pop-ups, mainly becuase of the top-heavyness. The "B1SL2 B1 Da Bomb Senior League Baseball Bat (-8)" - 29in/21oz is different. It is extremely balanced and my son hits a lot linedrives like he does with the small-barrel version of this bat. I moved him from a B1 29/19 small barrel to this 29/21 big barrel and there has been no drop off in his bat speed. The ball comes off this bat much harder (becuase of the extra 2oz). I originally tried the -10 (31in/21oz) and he struggled with the length. 29in/21oz is perfect for him.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          great!!!! in batting cages only use real baseballs. great bat has a lot of pop. good for hitting homeruns.awsome all around

                this bat is great for line driving balls not so much getting them over the fence. this is a good bat even though i reccomend the b2.
