    I bought this because we used a similar product (also called muscle clamps) at my school gym and they work well and are easy to use.This version of the product DOES NOT work well. On the muscle clamp website it shows a demonstration of the clamp supporting five or more 45 pound plates. With just 25 lb plates on each side, MY collars start slipping and when I put a foot on it, it stands no chance and comes right off even though I only weigh 135 lbs.I honestly can't imagine a practical use for a collar so weak since the bench press, deadlift, and power clean all use high amounts of weight.Stay away from this product.

        I bought thise collar to use on my Ez bar and they are very strong, firm and very simple to use.
        They were a little expensive, but for a good product we always have to pay more.

          NOTE: site is a little misinformative, when you order this with "quantity = 1", you actually get a PAIR of muscle clamps. I misread it and ordered quantity 2 thinking they were sold individually and received 4 muscle clamps total.
