The quality is great considering the price. We do not keep it outside when not in use in order to help it last longer.

I was disapointed though in the color/pattern. I expected the color pictured. Instead we received 2 hammocks with two different patterns. Neither one was the pattern in the picture above. I would have liked to pick my pattern/color so they matched.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
