The Schutt® Youth XP™ football helmet is a traditional shell helmet with that familiar spherical shape. It's a unique combination of tradition and state-of-the-art technology in a helmet that's small in appearance but big on protection. It comes with two different chin straps (hard cup and soft cup), as well as a pair of 1 1/8-in DNA™ jaw pads for additional side impact protection. Facemask not included.
Features

  • SKYDEX2™ TPU cushioning in back, front, crown, and sides sides absorbs more impact and provides better heat management than traditional foam padding. It is highly resistant to mold, mildew, fungus, and bacteria, while providing a barrier against MSRA and staph concerns
  • Utilizes traditional youth faceguards, which means you can use your existing faceguards on the helmet - no need for a specialized guard
  • Six large ventilation holes in the crown maximize air flow
  • Youth-specific high-impact ABS shell
  • Traditional loop straps for faceguard attachment
  • T-nut holders are molded in for easy faceguard installation
  • Two-piece SUREFIT® inflatable air liner system (crown and lateral) is treated with an anti-microbial to resist the growth of mold, mildew, fungus, and other bacteria. Includes AiR-LOC™ dual lock inflation valves
  • Non wrap-around nose bumper protects bridge of nose and helps eliminate forehead chafing
  • Multi-functional ear hole design
  • SUREFIT™ slots allow for inside-fitting chin straps
  • Comes with a youth hard cup chin strap and a youth soft cup chin strap
  • Includes one pair of 1 1/8-in DNA™ jaw pads designed to improve side impact protection and maximize comfort
  • Exceeds NOCSAE standard certification
