Comments about GLD Products GLD Firsco II Billiard Table:

We did not have an issue constructing the table, although we initially thought that the table was bowed because it was oddly unlevel (both sides were higher than the middle, but then it settled after a few days and is now almost perfectly level). There is something like glue under the felt near the pocket, but it doesn't seem to be affecting our play. We've had a combination table in the past (air hockey/pool) and it was no where near this quality. Including the 180 dollars for shipping and getting 15 percent off, we got this table for 840 total; especially considering the price (it retails on the manufacturer's site for 1400), it was a good value. The instructions tell you to contact the manufacturer if you have issues, but they refer you to Sports Authority. Also, one of our legs had a piece that was threaded wrong (where the feet screw in) that we originally thought attributed to the unlevelness, but it wound up causing little issue once the weight of the table leveled itself out.

Comments about GLD Products GLD Firsco II Billiard Table:

I play solo…about 6 games a day. The leather, or so called leather on the corners wore away very quickly … chipped. Felt table top frayed quickly. Not one surface is made of quality materials. I shutter to think what this would look like if teens were using it. IT IS A BASIC TABLE FOR AMUSING YOUR GUESTS…DEFINITELY N O T FOR A POOL PLAYER. As for the assembly, it is not easy…takes a couple of hours if you work carefully. Screw holes that were supposed to line up…most did…many did not. For the price this is adequate…It is not a quality table by any standard. Good for the family but please don't get mad at the kids when it shows wear almost immediately.
