Comments about Teeter hang Ups Teeter EP-950 Inversion Table:
About 15 years ago I fell down the basement stairs and did a lot of damage to my lower spine. I probably ruptured several vertebrae but never went to a doctor because I refuse to be operated on. Over the years my back got worse. Adjustments by my chiropractor helped a little but by the next day I'd be in severe pain again. It got so bad last year that I could hardly walk and figured I was a few years away from a wheel chair. Then, just before last Christmas my daughter & family came for a visit and brought their Teeter 950 with them. They were so excited about theirs they wanted us to try it and see if it would help. I used it every day while they were here and by the time they left my back had had some wonderful pops and I could bend over without it slipping out on me. We were so happy we decided to order one for ourselves from SA. It [...] was easy to assemble. Both my husband and I invert for about 5-10 minutes every day. I'm 63 and he's 71. Over the past 4 months the tight muscles and tendons have stretched and allowed my spine to realign and now my back is almost normal. I have very little pain. When the muscles and tendons relax they give a startling pop. It's a wonderful feeling. I'm now almost completely pain free. My husband does a lot of yard work and inverting every day keeps him out of pain and away from the chiropractor. The money we paid for our Teeter has saved us a lot of money in chiropractor bills. I haven't been able to work in the yard for years because of the pain I've been in but I think this summer will be different. I think everybody should a Teeter Hang Up. Thank you Teeter[...]

I purchased this because of lower back problems based on the premise that spinal decompression would improve my condition. I bought the higher-end model to get the extra features rather than pay more for them later if I decided I needed them. It is a very well made, high quality piece of fitness equipment. I have only been using it for a couple of weeks and though I can't say that it has shown miraculous results, I still haven't reached to optimal 60 Deg slope yet and it already does seem to help. I plan to continue using it as I seem to be sleeping better and with less pain.

I get on this Teeter for about 5 min. a day. I hang just over 1/2 way to upside down (so I'm slanted) and get great benefits! My back and neck feel great. The machine is extremely easy to use. It doesn't feel cheap. The Teeter is VERY sturdy and I trust it. With any machine like this, moonboots would be great for the ankles, but I don't hang all the way upside down. It's a nonissue for me. However, going upside down, completely, does hurt the ankles after a couple of minutes. I've used one other, old school machine from the 80's, and this Teeter was more comfortable. Put this machine where you can use it and store it because it's a heavy piece to move. There was a broken part due to shipping and the Teeter company promptly addressed my issue with pleasure! I'd rank their company 5 STARS!

The slide bar to adjust for your height is a little difficult for me, that is to keep balanced while I adjust it. Having said that I am the only user, however if I had to adjust it each day for a different user height, I find it for my age group (60's) difficult. I use it right now at 20 degrees several times a day.I plan to increase angle as I progress. I see improvements in my posture and overall sense of well being. Having owned it for only a couple of weeks, I am looking forward to continued improvement.

I have a pinched nerve in my lower back and using this product has relieved it. I feel great after I have used it...it does exactly what I needed it to do. The main reason I ordered the Teeter brand is because of its sturdiness. It is very well built and easy to assemble. It should last for many years.

I had minor difficulty in figuring out some of the bolts, as in which ones went where. Overall assembly is pretty easy. I got some relief immediately, starting at the 20 degree tilt as advised. I have sciatic pain and lower back pain and it seems to help both types of pain. I am trying to avoid back surgery or at least keep from having it in the near future. I researched other types of inversion boards and this one is the best built unit and is worth the price.

I tried a modle of the same company and found this one the most for the money and operation. The ease of operation compared to the models I tried was clear. It does reduce some of the pain I had and its a superior stretching tool. I feel better in general after using it. It's definately not required to go fully inverted. The best pro for this unit is the foot locking system, which is 4 fold better than others in my opinion. The easier reaching handles it comes with are nice but not really needed once you are balanced and used to using the machine. They are however nice for new users trying your machine. It may be one of the best for folding up for storage, but I find it annoying somehow and leave it out. After a week or so it wasn't really in the way anymore. One thing when trying one out - DO Not believe completely the person "demoing" the unit. Read the little booklet hanging on the side and adjust it correctly, as it will save you a headache. I have been told also about the "head rush" and its true if you go to much or for too long a time. After being used to it (4th time) head rush is gone and the back, with a bonus of knees, legs, and even neck feel more limber. In short I am glad I have one. Good luck and health.

I haved suffered with chronic back and neck pain for years. I decided to try inversion. Having recently gone thru dual hip replacement, I wanted a machine that was easy for me to use. My wife and I are very happy with the results that we have seen so far.
