I am a downhill skier and used these pants ever since I was a beginner 7 years ago. They performed great and this year I wanted to replace them. I looked all over and tried on many pairs of more expensive brands but none had all the features I liked in these, especially the full-side zippers for putting on over ski or snow boots. I was so thrilled to find out Sports Authority still offered these ski pants. They have a classic design-- the waistband sits at the bellybutton which I prefer, and the price is unbelievable for what you get. My only complaint, however, that when I ordered a new pair in the same size (L), they actually were about 20% bigger overall than the old ones. (Lucky me! I went from a large to a medium without losing a pound!) No actually, it is a drag because I can't return them and have to buy a second pair. (I had taken the new pair on a trip and had no choice but to use them even though they were uncomfortably large on me.) So, by all means buy these and just adjust for the size. I'm normally a size 10-12 and Large is too big for me. Otherwise they are a fabulous deal.

I use these for hiking and to wear at the barn. I wear them with just a base layer and they keep me toasty warm. Even in subzero temp I was comfortable. I am going to try horsebackriding in them this year.

These are the first snow pants I've owned. They fit great. They feel good and look good,too! I bought them in the store last January, not on line. I'm a size 6, weight 113 lbs. and 5'2". Size small fits snug around the waist with 2 shirts tucked inside.
