Comments about Kawasaki KX26G 26" Women's Hardtail Mountain Bike:

The delivery of the bicycle was exceptional. The return process almost as great as the delivery. The process that occured in between those two aforementioned points were actions of an immense let down. The unpackaging of the product revealed older style thumb shifters and cheaper components. I wanted to present a friend with a good gift however I was slightly embarrased when I thought about presenting this bicycle since the unveiling revealed an inferior product. It was to be anticipated given the price point of the bicycle. I still held on to hope. Assembly was easy since I took it to a Sports Authority (SA) store. I tend to find adjusting the brakes properly on my bicycles a bit tedious. I was willing to endure through the cheaper components and thus presented my friend with the bicycle. She thought it was most attractive and was excited to ride it. The ride was the breaking point. On a short one-mile ride she stated that the bike felt like it was going to fall apart. Being the man that I am I doubted the severity of such claim initially. Then I decided to investigate further and voila the crank on the bike was loosened and shackled. That did it for me. We returned from our ride and proceded with the return process. Cheap (cost effective) components are one matter, but poor construction is most devestating. This is not a well constructed bicycle, even for the price. It promises to be more costly in the end since one may be buying a similar product again in the near future to replace it. My advice would be to consider a more reputable bicycle maker. Maybe Kawasaki still makes good motorized products, however they have a few more hours of engineering lab work and product testing to do before they can be considered a major player in the manual product arena.

Comments about Kawasaki KX26G 26" Women's Hardtail Mountain Bike:

Took the bike to a campsite this past weekend after a trial run. It handled well. My biking partner was complaining about their seat (we all know what that can be like) and I realized that the padded seat was not causing me any discomfort. I not only road on trails, but i had to use the bike every time that I had to run to the showers or bathroom. I was off and on that bike a lot. It was very comfortable and handled well.

Comments about Kawasaki KX26G 26" Women's Hardtail Mountain Bike:

The bike is a medium purple color with a bright lime green accent on the shaft and on hand grips. The tires did not have the fat lime green stripe as shown on photo instead they are black with a thin RED stripe. Just a heads up on what to expect when the bike arrives.
