I recently purchased this bike after comparison shopping. The bike was already assembled, although I did add a kickstand. For my purposes of leisurely riding, this bike is great. If I was using it more seriously, I would have invested the additional money for a more suited bike. The customer service rep was awesome, he put the kickstand on for me and assisted in fitting me with a helmet. I would recommend.

This is the first time buying a bike. I personally don't know how to choose a bike but I can already tell you that if you want a good quality bike, don't come to sport authority! Why? Because the first time I bought it, there was parts missing. I couldn't even put the whole bike as a whole. So I returned it to get an exchange. The second time it came, the brake was not working! And both time, the box was tear and has many holes. The box seem like it was opened. I am very furious and thanks to sport authority, I can't get a bike for college on time. I swear this is the worst experience I have from buying anything whether online or in store!

Very easy to put together. The nuts and bolts are pretty cheap though. I am going to get a different seat and replace most the hardware. The seat that came with it is already stripped and will not stay in place. (My girlfriend has been riding twice in the 3 weeks since I bought it. The frame is nice and pretty light for the size.
