Product Details

From Paris to New York, professional tennis players are constantly in search of the game's grand slam! Now, you can get in a grand slam practice session with this Lobster Elite Grandslam IV ball machine. The unrivaled full random oscillation allows the machine to throw balls throughout the entire spectrum of the court, mixing up speed, spin, trajectory and oscillation. The computerized software allows for realistic simulation of match play.

Please Note: The wireless remote is sold separately.

Features

  • Random Feed Option: Varies the feed rate or time interval between ball tosses. Mixing up the ball rate interval simulates match play and keeps players on their toes
  • Random, Variable Depth in 2-Line: Varies the depth of the shot randomly (short, mid, and deep) within the normal two line drills, if selected. The user can now select narrow, medium, wide 2 line drills and, if interested, select variable depth to keep things interesting
  • Triple Oscillation: Allows the machine to oscillate both horizontally and vertically simultaneously, allowing random shots at a fixed ball speed, spin, and feed rate that is predetermined by the user
  • Grandslam IV is governed by the machine's sophisticated computerized software, which has been programmed to determine all possible combinations of speed, trajectory, and spin
  • Allows for the Grandslam IV to realistically simulate true match play
  • Equipped with three pre-programmed six shot drills that simulate the most popular styles of play: grinder, all courter, and power baseliner
  • These incredible drills mix up speed, trajectory and spin to prepare you to play against the world's elite
  • Equipped with the most revolutionary control panel and optional wireless remote control found today. The "Lexan" control panel utilizes "touch-buttons" instead of dials, knobs and switches. It also has a digital LCD screen which allows you to view all menu selections and settings
  • For use with an optional 15-function wireless remote (sold separately)
  • Compatible with the Lobster Elite 15 Function Wireless Remote

Comments about Lob-ster Lobster Elite Grandslam IV Ball Machine:

Lobster Elite IV is a highly portable practice partner that doesn't talk back. It throws realistic balls with topspin and underspin. The drills give a good workout that helps with conditioning and strategy.

The Triple Oscillation places the ball all over the court making you run and practice your footwork and approach. It has variable spin and placement, giving youa good look at simulated drop shots and regular side to side, front to back ground shots.

The build of the machine is good and I don't suspect any problems with it. Customer Service at Lobster is good in my experience. I had a issue with a jammed ball (used an old dog ball) and they helped me through the issue.

Lastly, the Lobster IV has good battery life at 3+ hours. It's easy to setup and transport to the court. I've enjoyed the new foldable handle that makes it easy to pull to the court. It's 45 lbs and takes some getting used to lifting it from the ground to the car.

I highly recommend the Lobster Elite IV.
