      Purchased these shoes for a Colorado ski trip. They were priced right for what we needed. Well, on the way out, in the airport when I was putting the shoes back on after clearing security, the eyelet puled out of the shoe. This was the first time I'd worn them. Over the course of one week of walking around town in the snow, I slipped onto my rear end a half dozen times (so much for traction), the shoe strings fell apart, and another eyelet pulled out (despite being as gentle as possible). We went for cheap because we knew we would not use them much, but if you live in snowy areas, I'd avoid these shoes like the plague.

            Bought these as a gift for my guy. Great-looking boots, although sized a little small. Had to return 1st pair for 1/2-size up. Nice and warm, keep the feet dry. Great value! Would definitely recommend.
