Comments about Sea Eagle 380x Kayak Deluxe Package:

Living in NW N.J. we have many lakes and the Delaware Water Gap close by. SO far we have just been on flat water with the optional skeg installed.
I'm a big guy and my wife is petite. This boat suits us because we both have room to get comfortable, the inflatable seats are better than the low back molded buckets in the rigid hull sit on types.

None of the rental Kayaks we have used were this stable.I have drawn a small crowd by dumping upon trying to get in to a single place hard shell so the ease of entry is appreciated.

The skeg allows the boat to track well and the somewhat higher gunwales did not seem to be much of a problem in a breeze . I expected some compromise in hydrodynamics between a hard shell and an inflatable, and I hasten to add that I am not a hard core Kayaker so from my point of view the compromises are minimal and the tradeoffs seem very much worth it.

Finally for anyone skeptical about an inflatable, this boat is NMMA ceertified and uses the same hull technology as the Sea Eagles designed to take up to 40 HP engines. I have every confidence that this boat will see us through any rapids we would attempt.
