Comments about Shimano IX Spinning Reel:

My dad bought me this reel when 3 years ago and I still have it.Its my only reel because my other reels wore out quickly.I have caught fish weighing 4 ounces (Panfish) 2 pounds (striped bass) and 5 pound fish (American fresh water eel) its perfect for fishing any body of water even the ocean. Now I am thinking of buying 1 more.

Comments about Shimano IX Spinning Reel:

I have had several of these reels and never had a problem. I personally love the quick fire trigger but some of my friends hate the system. I guess its just something you have to try... These reels are bullet proof, I have had several and they always work when I need them to. I recently moved up to the syncopate reel with a metal housing just to try it. If its anything like the IX, it will outlast me.
