I think that this is a great aid when one is coming off of knee surgery as I was and in need of easy home physical therapy routines. One or two times a day with these strapped to your ankles while lifting in various positions, will help a great deal in getting you back on your feet, so to speak.

I adjusted the ankle weights to go as tight as they could around my ankles and they still didn't stay up on my ankles. They'd slide down after taking a few steps.
