    Comments about Lifetime 71566 Shatter Guard 50 Inch XL Portable Basketball System:

    Advertisement said “no tools required” – I used almost every tool I own in my tool box to put together this product – never believe the false advertisement.

    The product showed up late, missing my son’s birthday.

    The product was a used item – someone tried to put this together, got frustrated and sent it back – I paid for a new basketball hoop and got somebody’s reject.

    I called Sports Authority for a refund and I “got nothing” from them – just a "we’re sorry".

    Give yourself lots of time (took me 4 ½ hours) and you need lots of patience and help to put this product together – instructions are very difficult to follow.

    If you are not a handy person – DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
