I have a shooting pad and needed a strong heavy duty net. Im 15 and i guess i have OK shots. i have hit the posts dead on with a slap shot and it hasnt dent the posts. The posts are basically black now. This net is awesome although its gonna be hard to move it to a pond because its heavy. But heavy is still a good thing if u want to keep it somewhere like a rink or driveway. And it would be easier to move with a truck which i don't have. It hasn't been through winter but is still in great shape. The shipping is a great deal and if the nets rips..honesty..who cares. But a new net that is like 5$..not much of a problem to me. The net has held up great so far. But one more con is that the posts "detach" from eachother because there is no screw to hold them together as you assemble it. But you can drill a hole and do it yourself. Awesome NET!

These units are well made - I bought two and both assembled with no problem - Netting fits to frame perfectly when installed with patience - Yes they dent when you nail em - You would have to have a frame made from schedule 40 pipe if you wanted something that was not going to dent -[...] for the pair you can't beat em - If you are pushing pucks through the netting you probably should try out for the NHL - Practice Partner's website says that there is a life time warranty on the frame - I imagine that this pertains mainly to rust since the frame is galvanized - Step up to this model - You won't reget it

It's perfect for the price. It does get dented but I am used to that. My neighbeor has $400 goal and his is dented to. The net is good but I have replaced it after 1 year. This is our second goal of this type and the first still has the original net, go figure. It's nearly 3 years old

I bought two of these goals and i have had them for about two weeks and whenever you hit any posts the posts WILL dent and it is SUPPOSED to be heavy duty nut is far from that. The Netting and hooks you hook the net to are also fairly weak. I have bent or broke alot of them alreadyand put numerous holes in the netting and all i use is plastic street hockey pucks. they are very easy to assemble and look very good though.

I had originally liked this net. When you attempt to move it, the bars do not stay in place, they fall out. Some sort of hardware kit would have been nice. It bascially has a quick setup of the bars and pipes but when it comes to the net, is more work and effort. I doubled the rope like I was told and used two people working both sides of the net and the rope was not enough to make it all the way around, the net seemed to be very big and would not conform or tighten. Welds to attach rope/net on the back bars snapped when pulling the rope tight.
