Comments about CASCADE DESIGNS THERM-A-REST Trail Scout Self-Inflating Mattress - Long:

I bought 2 of these (1 for my wife) and camped in the Colorado Rockies in Mid May. They worked extremely well. I did not feel the ground at all. For the most part it is self inflating and then you do the final touch yourself by inflating the rest. That's normal for all self inflating mattresses regardless of cost. It's small and light enough for backcountry camping.
