        I'm very disappointed with these. I bought these last year at the end of the season for my son and we were both excited to pull them out for our first trip to the snow. At the end of a few hours of sledding, my son's feet were soaking wet. The problem is the zipper, we think. It won't stay up. By the end of the day, the zipper completely broke off, not the pull part, but the threading part. Very cheap.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        So far my son (5 yrs. old)has only used it out when it's raining and these boots do keep his feet dry. However, as the day goes on, the zipper keeps zipping down, making it difficult to walk. When he puts the boots on, the removable liner sometimes folds inward and as he's taking the boots off the liner comes out with his foot. For the price, these are okay, but if you are looking for something durable, I do not recommend these boots.

            We ordered the boots for an upcoming ski trip and haven't used them yet, but discovered upon arrival that they are quite snug. My son's shoe size is 11 1/2 so I ordered a size 12 to have extra room for heavy socks. In thin socks, his toes come to the end of the boot, so take into consideration when ordering. They are good looking and easy to get in and out of. The liner comes out of the boot for drying which is great.
