Bat feels great, looks great but it will not last. Our 11U and 12U travel team purchased three of these and they have all significantly cracked within 3 months of use. Hard to find a bat that will last these days. Sick of sending them back! We purchase 50+ bats a year ages 7U - 13U and there are very few that'll last more that 6 months without denting or cracking.

Wrong barrel size

By BaseballMom

from Hagerstown, MD, USA

Comments about EASTON Mako Senior League Baseball Bat (-10):

Our son loves this bat, however, the salesperson at told us it was legal for Pony and it is not. The barrel on the bat we bought is 2 3/4 and Pony regs say no bigger than 2 5/8. Now, going back to Dick's to get the correct bat. I will probably have to fight because the sales associate didn't know his merchandise. Unfortunately, this bat can not be used in Little League, Pony or at the High School level where I have players.

This is a great bat. It has a huge sweet spot with good swing weight. They say that this bat is top heavy but its not at all.

This is an awesome bat

By Anonymus

from California, USA

Comments about EASTON Mako Senior League Baseball Bat (-10):

This bat is great! It intimidates pitchers, and has great pop. I used my teammate's and went 2-3 with 2 walks. The only time I got out is when I chased a bad pitch. Most pitchers were afraid to throw to me. The only problem is that you walk a lot which is good and bad. My team hit 5 homeruns (including 1 scoreboard shot) with this bat in four games. That's about it!

Great bat

By Aubrey7

Comments about EASTON Mako Senior League Baseball Bat (-10):

This is a great bat for most all around hitters, i smashed 2 back to back homers with my friends mako and i play little league juniors, the-9 will be legal in LL . You people say it should be -5 it cant be speed and power if its -5 that would just be a xl1 with a smaller sweet spot

why seriously why

By mrelite

from California, USA

Comments about EASTON Mako Senior League Baseball Bat (-10):

Why spend 400$ on this bat when you can get the obviously better bat the xl1!!! Its more end heavy and built for power elite hitters. If your not an power hitter just get the s1 for a better feel and quicker bat speed and if you cant barrel the ball up well you might as well get a voodoo -5 better than spending 400$ on this thing. It is basically the s1 painted the different color. Plus the voodoo is 2 5/8 xl1 is the best

Same as s1

By Coach1

from Carmel ind

Comments about EASTON Mako Senior League Baseball Bat (-10):

My son plays 11u travel and owns s1 and s2 and the new mako all in 29/19. First there is really no difference between the s1 and the mako. My son prefers the s2 over all three bats. I took my sons team all to the field one day. They all hit using all three bats. All of the bats have a 3000 plus hits on them. The difference between the mako and s1 was ,no difference. The team however voted on the mako for its look.Seven of the boys preferred the s2 and the other four preferred the s1 or mako. Overall if you can find the 2013 s2 go buy it is a great bat. Easton makes great bats. Choose wisely.
