This bat has a ton pop a can hit the ball very hard almost to he point that it is dangerous to pitchers, corner infielders, umpires, and base coaches. This -11 bat did not fit me quite right because it was to light. But it is a very good quality bat and would be great for people who like long bats but the xl1 (my favorite) is to heavy for them (-10) but the s1 (-12) is two light for them. If these people cannot afford the mako ($280) that is very expensive they would also be good with an xl2 it doesn't have quite the same pop as the xl1, being half-and-half. But it is much cheaper than the mako (less than $200). The only truly negative comment I have against the mako is that Easton could have done a much better job on the paint job, being a bat between the xl1 and the s1 I expected the paint job to be In that range too, not orange and grey.

Great bat. My son is 12 and loves his 32inch bat but, has had it only 3 weeks and has cracked it and the end cap fell off . Need to make the mako stronger for real power hitters.

Comments about EASTON Mako Youth Baseball Bat (-11):

I got the MAKO for crhistmas for a upgrade from my XL1. Last year with the Xl1 I hit 29 home runs. With the mako we are halfway into our season and i only hit 10 homers. but it still is a good bat.

My 11 year old has been asking me to get him a Mako for months, he's been using his team mates Mako on his travel team. I finally bought him his own, and the first hit he had with it was a triple! The ball jumps off this bat.

    Great Feel. Great Pop

Comments about EASTON Mako Youth Baseball Bat (-11):

I had only hit 1 homerun in my life before I got the Mako. This year, I have hit 21 homeruns, 11 triples, and 9 doubles in 22 games. This bat is helping my team roll over other teams creating an opportounity to get about 5-6 at-bats a game. Thank you so much easton!!! Keep up the good work!!!

Comments about EASTON Mako Youth Baseball Bat (-11):

Just got the mako in the mail. A day or so later I went to the batting cage and hit with it. The bat has more pop than any other bat I have ever used. The sweet spot is amazingly big for such a light bat. The sound the bat makes when you hit it solidly is amazing. I was debating wether to get the S1 or the Mako. I got the mako and it was super. The grip is awesome!

    End cap problems

    By Anonymous

from Anaheim Hills, Anaheim, CA, USA

Comments about EASTON Mako Youth Baseball Bat (-11):

12 year old son loves the bat's feel and the ball has screamed off his bat . Only problem with bat is the end cap popped off during a game (almost hitting the pitcher) so had to go buy a new one for all-stars only to have the same problem on second bat. Both Mako bats had the epoxy glue fail to properly secure end cap to bat. We had to replace 2 bats less than a year old for same problem so always check end cap for separation.
