Comments about Bauerfeind USA Bauerfeind CaligaLoc Stabilizing Ankle Brace:
I just had 2 ankle surgerys. 2 screws in and 2 screws removed. The Bauerfeind brace works great! its kind of uncomfortable at first, but you wear a tube sock with it and your fine. I think that the pieces to the inside might wear after awhile, but they seem to be pretty good. Its easy to get on. I wear a size shoe 10. I think you should definately get the smaller one, because I have trouble getting my foot in my shoe with it on, since its for size 10 - 13. Its very sturdy. I am very pleased with my ability to play sports with it. However (the only thing I don't like about it) the piece has no bend to it (which I also like) so it makes it hard to have that natural bend for running and jumping. You won't turn your ankle at all in it, so I think it rocks. I definatly recommend this for weak ankled people, such as myself.
