        After purchasing my first pair of Vipers a few years ago, I was impressed with the improvements of the current version. The shoes looks heavy, but they aren't. I use these shoes in my TV production gigs, and feel great, even after standing for a couple hours straight.

          After 4 days of wearing,inside of boot matierial(Heal and Big toe points)wore out very fast leaving holes and black coloring on my socks

            I wear the new ones on duty, then rotate them for off duty, then the worst pair for dirty jobs. They last long, are the most comfortable shoes I own (except for a few pairs of Merels which aren't made anymore). They are warm, WATERPROOF, and comfortable. Only wish they were not made in China.
