        Very disappointed that we didn't find out until we read booklet enclosed with it that it could not be used in the trunk. [...]Everyone we mentioned it to said they too would think it would be for the trunk. We will never order again from the company as it was sold under false pretenses.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        I use the product mostly during travel via car on day trips or vacations. I enjoy being able to take the cooler into my hotel room and have cold drinks and cold snacks available for happy hour or in the evening. I often use the supplemental power supply that is available and plug into 110 volts at the hotel. Omly problem I have is it's cooling power. The items you put into the cooler had better be very cold to begin with and you will need to use ice packs, best placed at the bottom of the cooler in order to get maximum duration before the ice packs melt.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        Because of the design I don't have to find a large open space in my car to use it. The size is great for 20oz bottles to stay upright. On road trips I can keep food and drinks for 1-2 meals at a time.
