The other guy is right, but if you have deep shoes like my New Balance 655 tennis shoes, then your heel won't fall out. I play tennis at a high level and go through about 1.5 pairs of insoles for every 1 pair of shoes.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
The heel area of this insole is too thick. It lifts the foot out of the shoe and is so unstable that it hurts my ankles to run in them. I used the old ten-seconds all-sport insoles for years and they were clearly superior to the pro-sport in my opinion.
