After a few years of ice fishing in high school and college, ice fishing fell to the wayside of life for a LONG time... and this year, I decided that it was time to get back out there!

Being limited on funds, I didn't know what I wanted in a house, and didn't want to spend a ton of cash to not like what I found. So, I fortunately had the chance to borrow this from a friend, I am SOLD on it! He may not see it back, unless he "remembers" that he lent it to me. If he does "remember" and gets it back, I will be buying one for next winter!

Even with only two of us in it, it holds heat from the "Little Buddy, by Mr Heater" very well!
And that is definitely NOT the biggest, baddest or warmest heater on the market, either!

It collapses easily. When it is collapsed, it can easily be put in the back seat of the car to move locations and put it right back up! The self tapping anchors work like a charm, and shelter stays put even in the often times BRUTAL wind of South Dakota winters!

I have a number of ice fishing houses. When fishing alone or looking to find fish, I often use a sled/house combo, (flip over design style). However, when I know where I want to fish and set up shop for the day, this unit cannot be beat. It's very roomy for at least 3 people and their gear, sets up quickly and securely, is built from quality components and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. This unit will also come in handy when taking large groups of friends and/or relatives out on the ice. I've searched the rest and in my opinion, for all of the above reasons and for my purposes, it is also the best. Take care.
